At the cottage

We got home from our friends' cottage last night. We had so much fun! Thanks for your prayers.

Well, most of our pictures got deleted unfortunately.... here are a few though.

On Friday we went to a farm up north. They had a squash launcher which was the biggest hit I think. :D

Talitha turned two last week! Ian wanted to make her something. We didn't have any eggs, which made it rather difficult to find any recipes, but we did find this chocolate upside-down cake which didn't require any eggs. Yay! :D

When Ian found out last week that Talitha was turning two, he decided that he REALLY wanted to buy her a dress. He is so sweet! He and Mom picked her out one at the store before we left. It was really cute on her, but I don't think we have any pictures.

Vacation

We are going up north tomorrow, so we won't be able to post for a few days.

We're back!

We are home from Alaska! It was SO much fun but it is nice to be home, too. Alaska is beautiful! It was so amazing to be able to see God's earth and His love for us shown through His creation. It was also so great getting to be with our family, especially the ones who live far away and we hardly ever get to see. :(

Today we cleaned, painted, did about 8 loads of laundry, worked in the yard, practiced our instruments (yay! I was REALLY missing my violin! And the piano. :D), made bread, bread sticks (yum!), more bread, and Andi made cherry/strawberry crisp. So it has been a busy day!

I will post pictures of Alaska and write more about the trip later.

Leaving...

We are spending the day today packing because we are leaving tomorrow morning for Alaska! We will be gone for 9 days, so I hope everyone has a wonderful week and we will get back to posting next week.
